Adam Zagajewski

Adam Zagajewski is a writer of poems, essays and short stories. He studied philosophy and psychology in Poland and made his debut as a poet in 1972. Among his works are Mysticism for Beginners (1997) and Unseen Hand (2011). Zagajewski taught creative writing at the University of Houston and has been visiting professor at the University of Chicago since 2007, where he is also a member of the Committee on Social Thought.
