Arthur Melzer

Arthur Melzer was a humanities student at Cornell University and in 1978 gained a PhD in Political Science at Harvard. He has been Professor of Political Theory at Michigan State University since 1997. He specializes in Jean-Jacques Rousseau, wrote works such as The Natural Goodness of Man (1990) and is a co-editor of The Supreme Court and the Idea of Constitutionalism (2011).
