Bernard Williams
Bernard Williams was a British moral philosopher. He spent over fifty years looking for the answer to one question: ‘What is a good life?’ He was professor at the universities of California, Oxford and Cambridge, and wrote numerous books and articles, such as Problems of the Self (1973), Moral Luck (1981), Ethics and the Limits of Philosophy (1985), and Truth and Truthfulness (2002).
