Cristina Campo

Italy, 1923 - 1977

Cristina Campo, pseudonym of Vittoria Guerrini, was a writer and translator. She wrote poetry and essays, and translated works by Hugo von Hofmannsthal, Virginia Woolf and others. Her essays, which combine poetry, art, philosophy and religion, have been collected in Fiaba e mistero (1962) and Il flauto e il tappeto (1971).
