Fania Oz-Salzberger

Fania Oz-Salzberger is Professor of History at the Law Faculty of the University of Haifa. She is also Professor and Leon Liberman Chair in Modern Israel Studies at the University of Monash in Melbourne. In 2009 and 2010, she was professor at the Center for Human Values of Princeton University. Among Oz-Salzberger’s publications are Translating the Enlightenment: Scottish Civic Discourse in Eighteenth-Century Germany (1995) and the travel guide Israelis in Berlin (2001). Together with her father, Amos Oz, she wrote Jews and Words (2012), an essay on Jewish history from a secular Israeli vantage point.
