Henry Méchoulan

Henry Méchoulan is a historian and philosopher who specializes in the Enlightenment. He was director of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in Paris. Méchoulan wrote Amsterdam au temps de Spinoza (1990), published works such as Le sang de l’autre ou l’honneur de Dieu (1970) and Raison et altérité chez Fadrique Furió Ceriol (1973) and translated Menasseh ben Israel’s Espérance d’Israël (1979).
