Homi Bhabha

Homi Bhabha is an expert in postcolonial theory, cosmopolitanism and nineteenth- and twentieth-century English literature. He studied at the universities of Mumbai and Oxford, and taught humanities at numerous universities. In 2001, he became Professor of English and American Language and Literature at Harvard, as well as director of the Harvard Humanities Center. Bhabha became well-known because of his study The Location of Culture (1994), in which he expounds his views on multiculturalism and postcolonialism.
