Keping Yu

Keping Yu, advocate of democratic governance in China, is a prominent Chinese thinker. He is professor and director of the Center for Chinese Government Innovations at Beijing University as well as the China Center for Comparative Politics and Economics. Yu was visiting professor at Harvard and Duke. Among his many books are Democracy is a Good Thing (2010), Governance and Rule of Law in China (2012) and Globalization and Changes in China’s Governance (2013). In 2011, he ranked nineteenth in Foreign Policy’s list of global top 100 thinkers.
