Luisa Mangoni studied contemporary history at the universities of Trieste, Venice and Trento. Among her published works is a history of ideas of the end of the nineteenth century. She also wrote on the journals and intellectuals of fascism, on Italian Catholic culture in the twentieth century and on the history of Einaudi publishers. Mangoni edited the writings of Delio Cantimori on 1930s politics and culture, as well as the collected works of Leone Ginzburg in Leone Ginzburg. Scritti (2000).
