Margaret MacMillan

Margaret MacMillan is a historian specialized in international relations. She studied history and politics at the universities of Toronto and Oxford, and earned her PhD at Oxford. MacMillan was Professor of History in Toronto for years before becoming Professor of International History at Oxford in 2007, where she is currently Warden of St. Anthony’s College. She is the author of works such as Paris 1919: Six Months that Changed the World (2001), Dangerous Games: The Uses and Abuses of History (2009) and The War that Ended Peace: The Road to 1914 (2013).
