Michael Walzer is a political scientist and philosopher. He studied history in Cambridge and gained his PhD at Harvard. Between 1962 and 1966, he taught at Princeton, before becoming a lecturer at Harvard. In 1980, he returned to Princeton as a Professor. Walzer is editor with Dissent and The New Republic and is the author of many books and articles, such as Just and Unjust Wars (1977), Arguing About War (2004) and In God’s Shadow (2012).
