Myriam Yardeni was a historian. She studied Hebrew, history and French culture, and began working at the University of Haifa, becoming Professor in 1975. In the same year, she founded the university’s institute for research of French history. In her research, she focuses on historiography, anti-Semitism and early modern nationalism. Among her works are Le Refuge Protestant (1985) and Anti-Jewish Mentalities in Early Modern Europe (1990).
