Thomas Molnar

Hungary, 1921 - 2010

Thomas Molnar was a Catholic conservative historian and philosopher. He studied philosophy in Brussels and New York, and taught at the University of Budapest and later on at Brooklyn College. Molnar wrote for the National Review and published dozens of books in English and French on themes such as education, politics and religious issues. Among his works are The Decline of the Intellectual (1961), Christian Humanism: a Critique of the Secular City and Its Ideology (1978) and Archetypes of Thought (1996).
