Frank Verhallen

Frank Verhallen is director of cabaret production house Koningstheater and teacher at the cabaret school Koningstheateracademie in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. He is considered an authority in Dutch cabaret as a historian and the author of a work on Freek de Jonge, which appeared in 2011. Since September 2012, Verhallen has been responsible for the cabaret and theatre music programme of the Theater aan de Parade and the Verkadefabriek. Together with Mo van Hal, he owns a gallery for contemporary realist art near ‘s-Hertogenbosch: Het Rode Huis. He also publishes a book series of the same name.
