
Garance Pineau
Garance Pineau is the general director of France’s largest employers organization, medef. Her career path has been driven by her unwavering commitment to social justice, welfare and international cooperation: she started as a Human Rights Officer for the un in conflict-affected regions such as East Timor, the Balkans and Ukraine, where she witnessed firsthand the consequences of poverty, political instability and armed conflict. Eager to effect change on a national level, she worked consecutively as diplomatic advisor to the French Minister of Labour, as eu advisor to the political party La République En Marche, as Chief of Staff for the Ministry of Europe, and as EU advisor to President Macron, in each of these jobs dedicated to creating a more equitable and prosperous society for all.
