Jed Perl

Jed Perl has been writing about the art world for over thirty years, and has been an art reviewer for The New Republic since 1994. He became known through works like Eyewitness: Reports from an Art World in Crisis (2000) and New Art City: Manhattan at Mid-Century (2005). In 2008, he published Antoine’s Alphabet: Watteau and His World. In 2012, Magicians and Charlatans appeared.
