Oek de Jong
Oek de Jong is a writer of novels, short stories and essays. He is best known for the novels Opwaaiende zomerjurken (1979), Cirkel in het gras (1985) and Hokwerda’s kind (2002). In 2012, Brief aan een jonge Atlas appeared. His essays and articles are published in cultural journals and magazines such as Vrij Nederland, De Groene Amsterdammer, Hollands Diep and De Gids.
