Virginia Woolf

Virginia Woolf is one of the most famous writers of European modernism. She was a member of the Bloomsbury Group of intellectuals who discussed aesthetics and philosophy. Woolf wrote not only novels, but also essays, biographies, diaries and literary criticism. Among her best-known works are Mrs. Dalloway (1925), A Room of One’s Own (1929) and The Waves (1931).
