Jacques Janssen
Jacques Janssen was a graphic designer. After his studies at the Amsterdam school of applied arts and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, he taught at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, where he was made vice president in 1967 and became head of the graphic design department. Jacques Janssen is mostly famous for his work for Athenaeum-Polak & van Gennep Publishers, designing various series of literary classics. He also designed Nexus and the Nexus Library.
