Adina Hoffman

Adina Hoffman is a writer and essayist. Hoffman was a film critic and essayist with The Nation, the Washington Post and the Times Literary Supplement. She wrote the books House of Windows: Portraits from a Jerusalem Neighborhood (2000), My Happiness Bears No Relation to Happiness: A Poet’s Life in the Palestinian Century (2009) and, together with her husband Peter Cole, Sacred Trash: The Lost and Found World of the Cairo Geniza (2011). Hoffman and Cole are the founders and publishers of Ibis Editions in Jerusalem.
