Alain de Botton
Alain de Botton studied Philosophy in London. In books like How Proust Can Change Your Life (1997), The Architecture of Happiness (2006) and Religion For Atheists: A Non-believer’s Guide to the Uses of Religion (2011), he approaches all aspects of our lives with the use of the great philosophers and writers. In 2008, he cofounded the School of Life in London, where important questions from daily life form the core of the curriculum.
