Andreas Landshoff
Andreas Landshoff was a publisher, producer and literary agent. During his education at the Verlags- und Buchhändlerschule in Berlin, he began working as an apprentice with Suhrkamp Publishers. He then went on to work at the Subsidiary Rights department at Fischer in Frankfurt and became production manager at Kiepenheuer & Witsch in Cologne. In 1955, he moved to Harry N. Abrams Publishers in New York, eventually becoming senior vice president of European operations and associate publisher and remaining with the company until 1992. In 1972, he founded Andreas Landshoff Productions, becoming an independent publisher, theatre producer, author’s agent and publishing consultant.
