Bas van Stokkom

Bas van Stokkom studied sociology and philosophy, and in 1990 gained a PhD in sociology with a thesis on Georges Sorel. He then became a researcher at the Wiardi Beckman Foundation, the Ministry of Justice, and at the Radboud University Nijmegen and the VU Amsterdam. Among his publications are Mondig tegen elke prijs; het vrije woord als fetisj (2008), De sociale cohesie voorbij (2009) and Wat een hufter! Ergernis, lichtgeraaktheid en maatschappelijke verruwing (2010).
