Bert de Muynck

Bert de Muynck is an architect and a writer. He studied architecture and cultural studies in Leuven and Brussels. Central to his work is the relationship and mutual influence between architecture, culture, literature, politics and urban development. De Muynck is director of Moving Cities, a think tank which investigates the future of the modern city and the role of architecture and urban planning. Since 2011, De Muynck, who was previously working in Beijing and Shanghai, has been teaching at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Hong Kong.
