Bert Meerstadt

Bert Meerstadt has been director of the Netherlands Railways (NS) since 2009. He previously worked with the international marketing and communications bureau Young & Rubicam, where he led the Europe, Middle East and Africa division and was a member of the executive board. Meerstadt is an architect by education: he studied architecture at the Delft University of Technology and completed an MBA at the European business school INSEAD in the French town of Fontainebleu.
