Catherine Nixey
Catherine Nixey studied Classics at Cambridge and subsequently worked as a Classics teacher for several years, before becoming a journalist on the arts desk at The Times; she is now the paper’s radio critic. She is the author of The Darkening Age: The Christian Destruction of the Classical World (2017), in which she critically appraises the destructive tendency of Christianity and of monotheistic religions generally.
