Christianne Stotijn
Christianne Stotijn is a mezzo-soprano. After studying singing and the violin at the Amsterdam conservatory, she sang with such orchestras as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra. Among her recordings are works by Schubert, Berg, Wolf, Pfitzner, Strauss, Mahler and Tchaikovsky. In 2013, Stotijn performed the world premiere of a new work of composer Thomas Adès.
