Chuck Workman
Chuck Workman is a film director and producer. His Precious Images (1986) – a collection of iconic scenes from Hollywood history – earned him an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. He also made Superstar (1990), the documentary on Andy Warhol which was shown on various festivals. A number of his films are part of the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Workman has worked as a theatre and opera director and was artistic director of the Chaplin Theatre Company in Hollywood, as well as chairman of the International Documentary Association.
