Cuny Janssen

Cuny Janssen is a photographer who mainly portrays children and landscapes. She studied at the Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU). Solo expositions dedicated to Janssen’s work took place in The Photographers’ Gallery in London (2005), in the Sabine Schmidt Galerie in Cologne (2006-2007) and in the Kunsthal in Rotterdam (2008). Janssen also published six books, My Grandma Was A Turtle (2010) among them, with photographs of Native American children. These photographs were exhibited in Berlin, Cologne and Amsterdam. 2012 saw the exposition of new work in Heilbronn.
