David Abulafia

David Abulafia is a historian. He studied at Cambridge and specialized in the history of the Mediterranean during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. He became Professor of Mediterranean History in Cambridge in 2000. Abulafia wrote works such as The Two Italies (1977), Frederick II (1988) and the bestseller The Great Sea (2011).
