David Gelernter
David Gelernter studied Hebrew, practices painting and is currently Professor of Computer Science at Yale. In his book Mirror Worlds (1991), Gelernter early on envisaged the role that the internet and social networks would come to play. He gained renown with Judaism, a Way of Being (2009) and America-Lite: How Imperial Academia Dismantled Our Culture (and Ushered in the Obamacrats) (2012). In Drawing Life: Surviving the Unabomber (1997), he evaluated the impact of the Unabomber’s attack on his life in 1994.
