David Modell

David Modell is a photographer and documentary filmmaker. He made his first long documentary, Young, Nazi and Proud, about an extreme right wing activist, in 2002. Modell’s work shows the personal and psychological aspects of social phenomena, like in Mad About Animals (2006, on animal rights activism) and The Thief Catchers (2011, on recidivist criminals).
