Els Schröder

Els Schröder is a historian, editor and engaging storyteller. After studying history at Utrecht University, she received her doctorate from the University of York on a study of friendship and favour in tenth-century Anglo-Saxon England. She also adapted medieval tales for theatrical performances and educational projects, playfully acquainting the general public with history and heritage. She worked for Brepols Publishers on English publications in European history and from 2014 to 2016, she was editor for the journal Nexus.
