Emanuel Gat

Emanuel Gat is a ballet dancer and choreographer. He was originally trained as a musician and only embarked upon a successful dancing career at the age of 23. He travelled the world with the Liat Dror Nir Ben Gal company and soon began writing choreographies. In 2004, he founded his own company and created The Rite of Spring and Winter Voyage, based on music by Stravinsky and Schubert. In 2011, he wrote the choreography as well as the music of Brilliant Corners. Gat is also a popular guest choreographer, who wrote works for companies such as Noord Nederlandse Dans.
