Emily D. Bilski

Emily D. Bilski is an independent curator and scholar specializing in modern and contemporary art, and in the interface between art, cultural history and the Jewish experience. She has served as curator and consultant to museums in the United States, Europe, and Israel. Among her numerous publications are Berlin Metropolis. Jews and the New Culture. 1898-1918 (University of California Press, 1999) and The Power of Conversation. Jewish Women and Their Salons (Yale University Press, 2005).
