Fiona Shaw
Fiona Shaw is an actress and a theatre director. She is known to a large audience as Petunia Dursley in the Harry Potter films. Shaw studied philosophy before studying at the Royal Academy for Dramatic Art in London, and in the theatre played the main roles in Electra (1988), Hedda Gabler (1991), Happy Days (2008), Medea (2008) and Mother Courage (2009). She directed her first opera, Vaughan Williams’s Riders to the Sea, in 2008.
