Hans Croiset

Hans Croiset is an actor, director and writer. He was artistic director and cofounder of various theatre groups, such as Publiekstheater and Het Nationale Toneel. He received the Dutch theatre award Louis d’Or for his role as Creon in Antigone by Anouilh in 1980. In the 1980s and 90s, Croiset was Visiting Lecturer and Regent’s Lecturer at Berkeley. He published the novels Badhuisweg (2008), Lucifer onder de Linden (2010) and Lente in Praag (2013).
