Jacques Attali

Jacques Attali, economist, renowned writer and honorary member of the French Council of State, was special adviser to President Mitterand. Afterwards, he became president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which he co-founded. He founded Action Contre la Faim as well as the European framework EUREKA, is actively involved in many non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against poverty and is still one of France’s most influential political experts. He is the author of over fifty books, including his most recent works Devenir soi and La francophonie et la francophilie, moteurs de croissance durable, a passionate plea for a francophone union based on the European model, both published in 2014.
