Jean-François Mattéi

Jean-François Mattéi was a philosopher and a political scientist. After teaching in Toulouse and Marseille, he became professor at the university of Nice in 1980. He also worked as an advisor for, among others, the French ministry of education, and was editor of the journal Noesis. He wrote the books La Barbarie intérieure. Essai sur l’immonde moderne (1999), De l’indignation (2005) and Philosophie de la chirurgie esthétique (2011).
