Jean-Louis Chrétien
Jean-Louis Chrétien is a philosopher and poet and teaches history of the philosophy of late Antiquity and the Middle Ages at the Sorbonne. He converted to Christianity, which became a major inspiration for his oeuvre. Among his many works are La Voix nue: phénoménologie de la promesse (1990), Saint Augustin et les actes de parole (2002), Reconnaissances philosophiques (2010) and Conscience et roman II. La conscience à mi-voix (2011).
