John Lukacs

John Lukacs is an American historian of Hungarian descent. Between 1947 and 1994, he was Professor of History at Chestnut Hill College, and afterwards he was Visiting Professor at universities such as Columbia, Princeton and Johns Hopkins University. Lukacs is considered one of the main experts on World War II and the Cold War. Among his classic works are Five Days in London. May 1940 (1999), Churchill: Visionary. Statesman. Historian (2002), June 1941: Hitler and Stalin (2006). In 2011, The Future of History came out.
