Joseph Weiler

Joseph Weiler studied law at Cambridge and at The Hague Academy of International Law, and specialized in European law. He is Professor of Law at New York University, where he is also director of the Straus Institute and the Jean Monnet Center. Weiler is also general editor of The European Journal of International Law and The International Journal of Constitutional Law, and author of publications such as The EU, the WTO and the NAFTA: Towards a Common Law of International Trade? (2000) and European Constitutionalism Beyond the State (with M. Wind, 2003).
