Kassem Eid
Kassem Eid is a Palestinian Syrian rebel and human rights activist. He joined the Syrian Revolution in 2011 and witnessed and survived a sarin gas attack by the Syrian regime in 2013, after which he fled to the US where he testified at the UN Security Council and briefed the White House, Congress and the State Department on the situation in Syria. Kassem is the author of My Country: A Syrian Memoir (2018).
