Katherine Ashenburg

Katherine Ashenburg is a non-fiction writer. She worked as a radio producer at the Canadian Broadcasting Company and was the editor of the cultural supplement of The Globe and Mail in Toronto. She is currently a freelance writer and teacher, and regularly contributes to The New York Times. Among her works are The Mourner’s Dance: What We Do When People Die (2002) and The Dirt on Clean: An Unsanitized History (2007).
