Konrad Kellen
Konrad Kellen was a political scientist. After studying law, he moved to the United States in 1933 to escape the Nazi regime in Germany. Between 1941 and 1943, he worked there as Thomas Mann’s private secretary. He was an information officer during the Second World War and after the war returned to Germany temporarily to aid the denazification process. Later, Kellen worked in the US as a political scientist with the Rand Corporation, a think tank focused on safety and defence.
