Lisette Lewin
Lisette Lewin is a journalist and writer. She worked as a journalist with de Volkskrant, NRC Handelsblad and Vrij Nederland. In 1983, Het clandestiene boek appeared, a non-fiction book on illegal publishers during World War II. It was followed in 1989 by her first novel, Voor bijna alles bang geweest, to great acclaim. Other works are Naar Dantzig (1997), Een hart van prikkeldraad (1999), De verloren savanne (2008) and Bach onder de palmen (2012).
