Lorraine Smith Pangle

Lorraine Smith Pangle is a historian. She studied history at Yale and has been teaching at the University of Texas since 2004, becoming a professor in 2010. Besides many articles, she wrote the books The Learning of Liberty (2003), The Political Philosophy of Benjamin Franklin (2007) and Virtue is Knowledge: Moral Responsibility and Justice in Socratic Political Thought (2012).
