Miguel de Unamuno

Miguel de Unamuno was a philosopher and a writer of essays, novels, poetry, and plays. His major works are The Tragic Sense of Life (Del sentimiento trĂ¡gico de la vida, 1913) and Mist (Niebla, 1914). Unamuno has also become famous by openly resisting those in power, both during the monarchy and in the various dictatorships, when he was the Rector of the University of Salamanca.
