Natalia Narochnitskaya
Since 2008, Natalia Narochnitskaya has been president of the Paris-based European Institute of Democracy and Cooperation, a think tank concerned with political and cultural relations between Russia and Western Europe. She represented the Rodina (Motherland) Party in the Duma from 2003 to 2007. During an international career, she worked for the Council of Europe and for the UN in New York. Narochnitskaya has a doctorate in history and published extensively on diplomatic history, international law and the history of international relations. As a commentator on the latter subject, she has made frequent appearances in the Russian media.
