Peter Cole

Peter Cole is a poet and writer. His first book of poetry, Rift, was published in 1989, followed in 1998 by Hymns & Qualms. Cole also edited a collection of medieval poetry entitled The Dream of the Poem: Hebrew Poetry from Muslim and Christian Spain, 950-1492 (2007). With his wife, Adina Hoffman, he wrote Sacred Trash: The Lost and Found World of the Cairo Geniza and founded the publisher Ibis Editions in Jerusalem.
